These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all skip-hire services (“Services”) provided by Buster Skips (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order with us, you (“the Customer”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE:
1.1. A hire agreement is formed once we accept your order and confirm delivery details.
1.2. Skips are hired for a maximum period of 14 days, unless alternative arrangements are agreed in advance. Extended hire may incur additional charges.
1.3. You must ensure suitable access and a safe location for skip delivery, placement, and collection.
2.1. All skips must be loaded to a level load only. Items must not protrude above the sides. Overloaded skips may be refused for collection, and you may be charged for a wasted journey or asked to remove excess waste.
2.2. You must not place any of the following in our skips:
Fridges or freezers
Tyres
Hazardous or toxic waste (including asbestos, chemicals, oils, solvents, paints, batteries, gas cylinders, medical waste)
Electrical items (WEEE waste) without prior agreement
Plasterboard (unless agreed and separated)
Liquids of any kind
2.3. You are responsible for ensuring the skip is loaded safely and does not contain prohibited materials. If prohibited items are found, additional charges will apply for safe disposal.
3.1. Once the skip is delivered, you are responsible for it until collection.
3.2. Any loss, damage, fire, theft, or misuse of the skip while in your possession may result in charges.
3.3. You are responsible for ensuring no third party interferes with or places inappropriate items into the skip.
3.4. If damage occurs to driveways, pavements, surfaces, gardens, or underground services due to skip placement at your request, we are not liable. You accept all associated risks.
4.1 Only certain skips may be placed on a public road, and a skip permit from the local council is required.
4.2. We can arrange the permit on your behalf, but fees will apply.
4.3. You must ensure the skip is lit and coned as required by law. Fines resulting from improper lighting or placement are your responsibility.
5.1. Delivery and collection times are approximate. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, breakdowns, or other factors outside our control.
5.2. If we cannot deliver or collect the skip due to restricted access, overloading, incorrect placement, or actions outside our control, you may be charged a wasted journey fee.
5.3. You must provide clear access on the agreed collection date.
5.4. Rearranged collections may incur additional charges.
6.1. Payment must be made in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
6.2. Additional charges may apply for:
Overloaded skips
Prohibited items
Wasted journeys

6.3. All prices include waste processing; however, additional disposal fees may be required for certain materials.
7.1. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery to avoid fees.
7.2. If a skip has already been dispatched, a wasted journey or cancellation fee may apply.
7.3. Refunds will be issued only at our discretion and may exclude administrative or permit costs.
8.1. All waste is transferred to a licensed waste facility.
8.2. We aim to recycle as much waste as possible in accordance with UK environmental regulations.
9.1. We are not responsible for any indirect, consequential, or financial loss arising from skip use, placement, delays, or inability to deliver or collect.
